BECERRA & ASSOCIATES specializes in defending workers' compensation claims in California. Our firm was established for that purpose in 1994 and is still successfully operated and managed by founder and owner Camilo A. Becerra, who has dedicated more than twenty years of legal practice exclusively to the comprehensive defense of workers' compensation claims. This focus has not only sharpened his individual expertise and knowledge of all facets of defense law to the benefit of our clients, but has also nurtured a keen understanding of insurers' concerns. These skills are shared and well supported by our firm's experienced team of attorneys and staff.
Over the past several years Becerra & Associates has taken note of economic developments that have caused revisions in the handling of workers' compensation claims. The claims explosion of recent years, coupled with employer discontent, economic insecurity and reactive legislation has placed significant stress on an overburdened system. Consequently, employers and insurance carriers are compelled to make crucial adjustments to conform to the economic reality of the times. Accordingly, all defense parties, including defense law firms, must develop additional resources in order to effectively represent the defense industry claims.
